PasswordPod allows you to store all your website login details safely in one place and can automatically transfer the details to and from web pages as you surf. You can also drag your data from the main window and drop it onto a web page or other document. PasswordPod has a flexible record format and can be used to store alarm codes, credit card details and whatever other types of information you choose.
Your data is password-protected using high security 256-bit AES encryption and consists of a collection of records which you can organize into groups. When you visit a web page with your browser, the corresponding record is automatically selected in PasswordPod's main window and shows any additional notes you've made about that website. You can also click on a button to tell your browser to go straight to the website corresponding to the currently selected record.
PasswordPod can run in the background when the main window is not visible and can be accessed using an icon in your computer's system tray. It can automatically lock your data after a period of inactivity for increased security.
PasswordPod is a standalone program and does not add plugins or toolbars to your browser. It can be installed on a USB flash drive to make it portable between computers and includes a built-in random password generator for creating strong passwords.
